Where everybody knows your name...
So Mike had a business trip to Boston Mass. He knew he'd have a little down time over the weekend so it was a perfect trip for me to tag along. We arrived Friday night and had a great dinner at Atlantic Fish Co. Saturday was some shopping for some "winter clothes." I did not prepare for the colder weather.
But today was our big tourist day! We started at 8:30am with the Duck tours, followed by Lunch at "Cheers" then walked down Newbury street to the Botanical Gardens, to the Boston Common, down to see Sam Adams grave site. (where we had a game of pool and drank some sams as we could see his grave.) Then walked to the north end. Bought the kids some sweatshirts, then walked back to ye ol' union oyster house. Americas oldest working restaurant. (and so was it's servers and food! Yikes!) But good times.
We ended the night at Newbury street having some Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Boston is a great city and it makes me appreciate this great country that we live in.
