He's back!

So Michael is back and it's great to have him home. Drew missed him so much he was glued to him all monday. So life as we know it is back to normal.
I will attach some of my favorite shots that michael got on his trip. He had a great time and I am so proud of him for all he did over the last two week. He'll be sharing some of his learnings at church www.revolution242.com on Sunday, so come on and join us.
I have begun to organize my office. I'm overwhelmed by the task at hand but I have someone who is totally helping me and I know that it will get done.

You know I was wondering if I would continue doing this beyond the india team coming home, and I'm really having struggles on what to say. On one hand I have too much to say, but shouldn't be said over the internet. But on the other hand the daily tasks that I do are all about children and pretty repeaticious. So we shall see if I can continue.

Running Water?

I had a meeting with a new bride tonight. Which is a good thing because it's been a while. So in my hurry to get the boys taken care of with meals and off the father in-law's for the evening, I hear water running. I'm in the kitchen and Drew is eating. I thought did he leave the bathroom sink running? I run in there and I see before my eyes the toilet overflowing with water all over the bathroom spilling into the hall! What? This has never happended in this house and of course it would happen while I'm a single mom this week! I finally got the thing to stop and I called my dad to the rescue to make sure it is not going to do that again. But isn't that all I needed in the mix of my crazy night.

Good news though, I booked the wedding, the kids got to bed on time, and heard from michael. Only a few days and he'll be home and life can continue as normal.

BTY...American Idol? I think most of them should have gone home! But the last girl was awesome.

I have fallen in love all over again! My sister spent the night last night and asked to borrow a big sweatshirt. I do not have big sweatshirts I think they make me look frompy. So she put on one of michael's that hadn't been wore yet. Tonight I decided to wear it myself and oh how I love the feel of a brand new fleece sweatshirt! It makes me feel like I'm receiving a big hug.

Today was a good day busy with children and work. I'm waiting again for the most recent update from India...
I heard there was a bombing there. That's not good. I like to have a little information about the day over there before I'm able to go to sleep.

I think I'm enjoying the blogging and might contiune once the India team is home.

Boys are the best

We've started the last week without daddy...aka mike. Things are going well. My friend Becky is here from Visalia and is bringing her 3.5 kids over for lunch. It should be fun, five kids and two moms in a 1200 square foot house! This weekend was really nice. I had a wonderful time at my friend sarah's son's first birthday party. There were a lot of old faces from memories of high school past. A class reunion with kids. After that I took the boys home and took the night off. We stayed in and it was nice.
Church Sunday was awesome. Chris gave me an "a-ha" moment.

Michael made Jackson and Drew a dvd of himself reading two curious george books so they could see him whenever they want. Drew has watched it several times a day and is watching it now. Thanks mike for that it's came to the rescue quite a lot.

I feel very fortuate to have my two boys with me. It's almost like mike's not gone because there is so much of him in each of them. We've been snuggling a lot this week. They're both really lovey and I love that.

I've needed a route canal for three months now...I am totally procastinating.

Another Crazy Day

So yesterday I took my 2006 Honda Pilot to get checked out. It hasn't been starting in the mornings. After spending 24 hours at the dealership...nothing seems to be wrong with it. They said everytime it started fine. Don't you hate that, makes me feel like I'm making it up. So I picked it up newly washed and drove it home. So far it starts yet we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm ready for the India team to come home. It's long enough to be away from michael. Oh well it's halfway over. Drew is really missing his Daddy. He's a little more whinney and clingy. He'll be happy for him to come home.

This just in: Britney spears shaved her head! She looks horrible!

Mike is gone and I can't sleep

So as I'm up waiting for an update from India I get sucked in to the world of Bloggers. I don't even have time to do this but I can't sleep so here it goes.
