What really makes me happy.
I thought of several titles for this blog...better then...I almost had a ...but none of those would work. But I bet you can't guess what made me more excited then anything in a long time!
My son ate his veggies! Not just one bite and then spitting them out, actually eating big bites and enjoying it! I would have never known such activities would bring me such joy five years ago...but all of you moms who deal with this problem regularly know it's the best when they eat their veggies!!!!
I also bought the new book Deceptively Delicious. I made one thing and they didn't eat it.
ok so I didn't tell the whole story of how he actually ate them...michael was telling him that he could have some chips if he ate some, then he started to say I'll race you and after his first carrot, he didn't mind eating them...michael kept racing him and that's how he ate them. So I take no credit in him eating them, but I take joy in the event just the same.
Saturday Night!

Who needs molly maid?
Sometimes I feel bad that my children only get videos from a video phone! It's wonderful to have it with you at all times so you miss nothing, but all I can get is 15 seconds. I don't think Jack has been video taped since he was born. The poor kid has never had a roll of film taken of him either! However he does have more digital images and video then anyone I know...well besides Drew!
Enjoy!

Mama, let's go see the candy corn!
Drew getting excited to go to Candy Corn Acres.
Drew is that little thing with his hands up under the bridge.
Yes, he has a gun!
Continuing the fall festival of pumpkins, we set out to the Happiest Place on Earth! Candy Corn Acres at DCA is sooo cute...with candy themed songs, and the smell of candy corn it was great. Then we went to see Mickey's Pumpkin face.
What a fun morning! We've had naps and I think we're gonna go again tonight!
Love the land.

It's the Great Pumpkin!
Fall is here and we are celebrating. One of our traditions is to visit the pumpkin patch! We didn't see the great pumpkin but we saw plenty of great pumpkins. Jackson had a little solo photo shoot in front of grandma's house, and yes drew buttoned his own jacket.
I also bought a coat today...it really is fall.
I love it.

It shows my age...
I'm often up late working...usually I started editing photos, or changing the website and of course the time waster...blogging. Just kidding. However I'm usually go to bed around 12am. Well my mom and step dad dropped by tonight on there way to Revolution night service and wanted to pick me up a treat at starbucks...I'm never one to turn down a free starbucks. But in the back of my head I said, it's a little late (6pm) for coffee. Well here it is 1am and I can't fall asleep. I've tried for hours and nothing. Who knows when I'll be asleep.
So note to self no more coffee after lunch.
I'm so old.
