This is what happens when you stray from the truth of Scripture into your own thoughts and feelings. Much of Scripture is hard. It's hard to understand, it's hard to digest, it's hard to live up to. It can definitely challenge our notions of what "sounds right".
I wrote a VERY LONG reply on Jenn Glenn's blog in response to all of this and the way the world repackages Christianity to make it more palatable to them. So thanks, Jenn, for providing me an outlet! and anyone who is interested in that can click on the link she gave.
Hey Beth, Hope your well. We all need to be careful how the media interprets, as well as we need to me on guard. I think it's time to have a sit down with Oprah... I'll take care of that next week and give you my report.
